Atlantic Wood & Timber is a Charlotte, N.C. based full service Framing Contractor specializing in multifamily and commercial projects as well as custom residential homes.
Owners Kelly Cummings and Chad Cordero have a combined 40 years experience in framing and interior trim construction and are well known throughout the Carolina's for their reputation and professionalism. Both are masters of wood stud construction.
Cummings, started as a framer in Colorado 20 years ago. He moved to the Charlotte region to become a project manager and eventually Vice President of Construction for large General Contractor overseeing numerous projects with multiple crews throughout the US. His work allowed him to evaluate project budgets, installation practices as well as a monitored safety policy for any size project. And, he was able to complete numerous projects as a field manager overseeing large framing crews for multifamily construction.
Cordero began framing in 2002 as a laborer on an assisted living project in California as a teenager. Moved to Charlotte in 2005 and quickly became one of the most sought after framing and interior trim carpenters for general contractors in the southeast region. His knowledge of framing as well as the ability to oversee all crews on every project has been vital to our growth.
